Welcome! Please join us for Retro Rubber Challenge 58!

Hello and it is wonderful to "see" you!  Thanks for stopping by!

It is time for a new challenge over at the Retro Rubber Blog!  Challenge 58!  This time the challenge is "anything goes"!  Pretty simple and fun right?  Join us!

For this challenge you must also use a stamp that is one year old or older.  But you can create any project that you like, in the anything goes theme.

Here is the challenge graphic and the card I created this time around:

To create this card, which was super easy by the way, I used a white folded card invitation size, and a piece of cardstock that already came stitched with the banner. This cardstock is from DCWV.  I applied the banner cardstock, slightly trimmed so white would show.  I added a white "celebrate" diecut that I cut using my diecut machine and a die.  I used dimensional adhesive to apply the word.  Then, I stamped "you" on the diecut using a piece of an older stamp that I own (it is a thank you stamp from Studio112) which I inked with Memento ink.  I made sure there was no ink before stamping on the word "thank" and used my mini Misti.

I entered my card in the following site's challenge:      http://asnowflakespromise.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1 A Snowflakes Promise, please check out their site.  :)   Here is what the stitched paper pad looks like and the stamp set:

It took about 5 minutes max!  Love quick cards!  Won't you join us for this challenge?  Then join us back at the Retro Rubber Blog the Sunday after the challenge end date to see who won the challenge!
Thank you so much for stopping in!

  1. Christine, what a great find in your designer paper... banners already stitched and waiting to be used!! Really like the white showing around the designer paper... it allows the celebrate die cut to pop! Love it, teammie!!

  5. What a great way to use the banner paper! I like using just part of a stamp too, it is a great way to get more mileage out of our stash!

  6. The bright colours make it look so festive. I like the stitching showing on it too. It links in to the colour of the big, bold 'celebrate',
