Hi there and thanks for stopping by!  There is a fun new challenge at The Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.  This time around, the challenge involves using a stamp that is one year old or older, and a brad embellishment.  For my card I used cardstock, Memento ink, Copic Markers, a Unity Stamp Set, an older background stamp (swirl), some washi tape, and brads and cord.  Here is the card I created for this challenge, and a copy of the challenge:

I also entered this card into the challenge over at:  The Curtain Call Challenge Blog, come check out this challenge also!  Here is a picture of the inspiration for the challenge:

A fun project!

Recently, I was given the opportunity to make a fun project with a surprise supply package.  The package came to me from Laura Kelly, and it contained several crafty items including fabric, cloth tags, adorable buttons, and Tulip Brand Fabric Markers.  The challenge given with the package was to make something crafty and fun from the fabric and the markers.

I created this card below, using the fabric as the grass and clouds (die cutting it), coloring the grass fabric with the marker, adding Lawn Fawn stamped images and sentiment, ornamental flowers, some washi tape, some Lawn Fawn twine, cardstock and one of Laura's cute buttons.  I really enjoyed working with the supply package from Laura, the markers are so useful, my daughter begged me to use them to color some fabric right away.  They are perfect for adult crafters, as well as teens and tweens looking to color and personalize their own fabric projects!  Try them yourself!  Thanks for stopping by!
