It is time for Retro Rubber Challenge #53! Please join the challenge!

Please join us over at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog for challenge #53.  The challenge involves using a stamp one year old or older and the challenge graphic holiday photo for color inspiration! Bring those old stamps back to life!.

Here is the challenge graphic and the card I created using this challenge:

To create this card, I took a white card in the invitation size.  I ran it through an embossing machine with The Paper Studio embossing folder in the pattern shown.  Next, I stamped the bow and ribbon image onto white cardstock, then colored it with Copic markers in different shades of red.  I cut the ribbon out, and placed it on the card, using dimensional adhesive for the bow.  I added an EK Success snowflake and a green gem.  I die cut the word "joy" using Krazy Kreations glittered paper, and added two green gems to the word.  Then I added it to the card.  So simple with really fun results!

The stamp set I only recently acquired, however, it is dated back to 2013 I believe.  I just love this set!  It is by Flourishes and called "That's a Wrap",  It is great for holidays, birthdays and more!  It comes with a gift tag image as well!  And it also contains holiday images.  Too fun!

Please join us in the challenge!  Then check back to the Retro Rubber Blog one week from this Sunday to learn the challenge winner!  I can't wait to see your creations!

  1. Hello Christine: Well, you are one lucky gal, I've been after that particular stamp set from Flourishes for a while now, I love, love this big, bold bow.
I love the rich red colors you used and the shimmery snow flake with that bright green gem are just the perfect detail to adorn this already beautiful image.
I'm sure you'll treasure this stamp set from years to come.
Oh, by the way, it was indeed released on September of 2013.
    Big Hugs,
    Maria.
