It is time for Retro Rubber Challenge #46! Please join the challenge!

Please join us over at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog for challenge #46  The challenge involves using a critter stamp one year old or older!  Bring those old stamps back to life!.

Here is the challenge graphic and the card I created using this challenge:

To create this card I used a piece of thicker patterned paper and sized it to invitation size.  I folded and scored the card and rounded two edges using my corner edge punch.  Next, I trimmed a piece of adhesive black fun foam and placed it on the card.  Next, I stamped the hippo onto white cardstock and colored using Copic Markers.  I stamped the glasses onto the hippo's face.  I stamped the hat alone and colored it, then fussy cut the hat and hippo.  I added the hat to the hippo using dimensional adhesive.  I added clear Wink of Stella t the hippo and hat.  I added the hippo to the foam using dimensional adhesive.  As an after thought I added some "freckles" to his face.

I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock, and added a ribbon and bow.  I added the sentiment
to the card using dimensional adhesive.  So fun and easy!  The stamp set is from Avery Elle and is several years old.

Please join us in the challenge!  Then check back to the Retro Rubber Blog one week from this Sunday to learn the challenge winner!  I can't wait to see your creations!
