Retro Rubber Challenge Blog, time for challenge #34! Easter!

Come join the Easter crafting fun!  Right now, the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog is hosting an Easter themed challenge.  Simply use a stamp one year old or older, and the Easter theme, and join us!

Here is the graphic for this challenge:

And here is the card that I created for this challenge:

This bunny card was so quick and simple to make.  I used an 2 old, inexpensive stamp sets that I have from Studio G.  Each set only comes with two stamps.  I used the bunny from one set and the sentiment from the other.  First I took a white piece of cardstock and cut and folded it into a card shape.  Then, using black ink from Memento, I stamped the bunny image three across.  I rounded the right corners at this point using my EK Success corner rounder.  I took a piece of patterned paper by Hazel & Ruby and die cut one edge into a zigzag design.  I trimmed it to fit the card and glued it down.  I stamped the sentiment with the same black ink in the lower corner.  I tied on some American Crafts black twine to the right.  And I inserted a black cardstock strip near the middle.

I colored the middle bunny using Copic markers.  RV 02 and 13, N0 and N1.  Then, I added some liquid glue on top, and added flocking lightly in white and pink.  I love how the bunny has soft, fuzzy texture.

Please join us in the challenge!  Then check back to the Retro Rubber Blog one week from this Sunday to learn the challenge winner!  I can't wait to see your creations!
