A fun project!

Recently, I was given the opportunity to make a fun project with a surprise supply package.  The package came to me from Laura Kelly, and it contained several crafty items including fabric, cloth tags, adorable buttons, and Tulip Brand Fabric Markers.  The challenge given with the package was to make something crafty and fun from the fabric and the markers.

I created this card below, using the fabric as the grass and clouds (die cutting it), coloring the grass fabric with the marker, adding Lawn Fawn stamped images and sentiment, ornamental flowers, some washi tape, some Lawn Fawn twine, cardstock and one of Laura's cute buttons.  I really enjoyed working with the supply package from Laura, the markers are so useful, my daughter begged me to use them to color some fabric right away.  They are perfect for adult crafters, as well as teens and tweens looking to color and personalize their own fabric projects!  Try them yourself!  Thanks for stopping by!

It's time for the Retro Rubber Blog Challenge #11!

I had so much fun with this challenge!  I took the opportunity to make a very spring like project, because I am hoping that our weather becomes spring like here very soon!

The challenge involves a sketch, as shown here.  Please visit The Retro Rubber Challenge Blog for full details.  My old stamp that I used here is the arrow.  I added some Memento ink, Doodlebug sequins, Recollections paper and clothespins and twine.  I also used a card sentiment from Simple Stories that I obtained at my website with A.muse Studios, Christine's Stamp Store, come shop with me!   I would love to see your creations!  I also entered my card in the challenge over at Uniko Studios, this is an anything goes challenge, so come check it out also for added fun!
