Crafting news and more!

Today, I am here with some news and more!  First, my term has ended with My Scrap Chick, it was a lot of fun and I learned a ton about SVG files!  So glad for that experience!

Next, I signed onto Scrap N Art Magazine's Design Team for a 6 month term and ended up staying over a year and a half!  So shortly, I will leave SNA as well. It has been a great time!

So I am crafting for "me" now, and it is working out fine. I am starting some challenges, how fun!  I am totally rusty, so my first challenge card doesn't reflect my best abilities by any means, but I had fun and right now that's what counts!

Before I leave you, I need to tell you the September 2014 issue of SNA is live and awesome. So click on the SNA link above to check it out!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Another project from My Scrap Chick!

Today I am showing an adorable file from My Scrap Chick.  It is the Spring Faces file, and it actually consists of four different components, a lamb, a chick, a bunny and a bird.

I used the bird here and a few other supplies to create a greeting card.  I used some patterned paper from Lawn Fawn (Let's Polka) and (Into The Woods), a bit of ribbon from Martha Stewart, Therm o Web adhesives, Lawn Fawn sequins (Let's Polka), kraft cardstock and a sticker from SRM Press.

The result is a card that I really love!

Thanks so much for looking!  And please be sure to stop in at My Scrap Chick, for more cute ideas and products!

Today I am posting a project that I absolutely love from My Scrap Chick!

I love this project so much!  It is so adorable and really easy to work with!

It is from the My Scrap Chick cutting file named Healing Heart Trio, specifically the Bandage Card #1 file.

Isn't it adorable?  There are several parts to this file, that could be given to an ill person along with this card.

I used different colors of cardstock here, and patterned paper from My Mind's Eye, the "Love Me" Collection.  Also, I used some twine, a button, some gems and a piece of ribbon.  And finally, I used regular and dimensional adhesive from Therm o Web.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and please be sure to stop by at My Scrap Chick!

More fun from My Scrap Chick!

My Scrap Chick has the most adorable cut files!  I love working with them, cutting cardstock, patterned paper, using embellishments, etc..  Each and every time the result is a project that is so fun!

Today I used a file called the Latte Cup Card.  In addition, I used some Cherry glue glitter from Recollections, misc. cardstock, Memento ink, and a really cute stamp set from There She Goes called the "Daily Grind".

Here is the finished project:
