Retro Rubber Blog Challenge, Anything Goes!

Come join us for Retro Rubber Blog's Challenge, in the theme of "anything goes"!  Just use a stamp one year old or older, and the above theme, and have some fun!  Here is the challenge graphic this time:

Here is the card I created for this challenge:

To create this card, I used a stamp in "cities" theme, from 7 Gypsies/Hampton Art.  I have had this stamp for quite some time, so long it barely comes off the packaging plastic for use!  But I love it and have got to start using it!  In addition, I used a stamp that has been in my collection a while, the suitcase image from Imaginisce.  I used a Memento ink pad to stamp the cities stamp on white cardstock. I trimmed the paper, mounted it on trimmed black cardstock, then mounted this portion onto a kraft pre-formed card, in the middle using dimensional adhesive.  Next, I rounded the kraft corners using my EK Success corner rounder.  Next, I stamped the suitcases on red paper using Versamark embossing ink, white detail embossing powder, and heat set it using a heat gun.  I placed this on the card using dimensional adhesive.  Next, I created some text in Microsoft Word, printed it onto white cardstock, and cut it with a tag shaped die by Spellbinders.  I placed it on top the card using flat adhesive.  Finally, I used a die and kraft cardstock to cut the anchor, and tied it onto the tag using black cord from American Crafts.  As a last touch, I dragged a Memento black ink pad around the perimeter of the card.

So fun!  It feels great to use old stamps!  Come have some fun and show us your work!  Visit the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog today then visit again a week from this Sunday to learn the challenge winner.  Thanks for stopping by!
