Here is a copy of the card that I created:
To create this card, I took a blank white card, invitation size, 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". I rounded the top right corner using my EK Success corner rounder. Next, I stamped the flip flop image all over the card front using Versamark Embossing Ink. Then, I sprinkled Ranger Embossing Powder in Liquid Platinum over the stamped images. Using my heat gun, I heated all the images until they were set.
Next, using my Zig Clean Color Markers, I colored one pair of flip flops on the card front. I used 26 Light Pink and 25 Pink and colored as shown. I had some pretty metal flowers in my crafting stash from ages ago, by Making Memories. I glued them to the flip flops using Ranger Multi Medium Matte.
On a piece of kraft cardstock, I stamped the sentiment using Versamark Embossing Ink and Snow Detail Embossing Powder by Recollections. I trimmed the kraft paper and rounded one corner. I then cut two strips of white paper. On the thicker strip I colored using the Zig darker marker. On the thinner strip I colored using the Zig lighter color. Then, I adhered the strips to the card. Finally, I added the sentiment using dimensional adhesive. My next card:
To create this card, I took white cardstock and fashioned it into a folded card, sized 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". I took a piece of white cardstock, slightly smaller than the card, and using a die from My Favorite Things, cut out the polka dot background. Next, I took a piece of pink patterned paper, attached it to the dot background, placed it on adhesive fun foam, and adhered it to the card. Using a die (stitched square) I cut a piece of four colored striped cardstock, turned it on an angle, and added it to the card front using dimensional adhesive.
Next, on white cardstock, I stamped the flip flops in black ink, and cut them out with a thin border using scissors. I colored inside the flips using Copic BG53, then added Wink of Stella Clear. I added the flips to the card also using dimensional adhesive. I tied a bow with trimmed ribbon and added it to the card. Finally, I stamped the sentiment on trimmed cardstock and added it to the card and added a blue gem from Hero Arts.
Cute stuff!
