Hello! Welcome to Retro Rubber Challenge number 54!

Hello and thank you for joining us for Retro Rubber Challenge Blog's Challenge 54!  The challenge this time involves using a stamp one year old or older, and the following theme, snow.  Beneath is the challenge graphic and the card I created for the challenge.

To create this card, I used a white invitation sized card, folded.  I took a piece of silver metallic card stock, rounded the edges, and stamped the snowflakes shown using a stamp set I  have owned for at least a year, from Recollections named Christmas Noel.  I just love this set because it has 10! beautiful snowflakes of various sizes and designs!

Using Versamark embossing ink, I stamped the snowflakes onto the cardstock.  I then used light blue embossing powder and my heat gun to melk the powder.  I added gems to the center of every snowflake.  In Microsoft Word, I typed the text and printed onto card stock.  I trimmed the cardstock and added the strip to the card front using dimensional adhesive.

This card was super easy and fun to make.  I would love you to join our challenge, and I would love to see your creation!  Please create something fun now!  Then  join us back a week from Sunday at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog to see who has won this challenge!  Best of luck!

  6. I do like the snowflakes in blue. They're lovely! I've never ever thought to actually just print out the sentiment I wanted like this - it's a revelation! I was so trying to find a stamp that said 'warm' so I could have 'warm wishes' on ly card and all along there was a solution! Thanks so much for the idea.
