To create this card, I used a stamp set dated 2016 from the Cutting Cafe Shop, named Feb 14. Since it is now 2017, I am just squeaking by in having a set one year old or older! Whew! I have actually had this set for a while, and love it so much! I have never used it before!
I paired this puzzle stamp with my Copic markers, Ranger Black Archival ink, white cardstock, dimensional adhesive, Wink of Stella in Silver, some EK heart stickers, silver twine, and patterned paper from Taylored Expressions (Formula for Love).
Quick and easy! Won't you join us for this fun challenge? I'd love to see your creations! Then come back to the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog a week from Sunday to learn the challenge winner!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Ah yes, what a great stamp to use with the patterned paper! Love all the little details as well!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a fun background. I'm a bit of a crossword and scrabble fan, so maybe I'm biassed! I love the little hidden messages and key words.
ReplyDeleteThank you both for the kind words and for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteChristine, I LOVE the "game" element to this card! I don't do crosswords (my vocab is way too limited) but I love "find words". It also reminds me of the eye chart at my optometrist office... just there two weeks ago! Great coloring and love the twine!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! love that pattern paper, my hubby loves crossword puzzles, I prefer the find words games. Awesome colors and details, I specially love, love the sweet little silver bow.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Maria.
Things to know about me - I love word searches. I love handmade cards. I love when you can put these two things together and make a must have card! Enough said? Nope - everything about this card is perfect - the paper, the stamps, the embellie. You outdid yourself!
ReplyDeleteChristine, I love the bright, modern feel to your card. I love to mix pink and red for Valentine's and you have done it so well here. Clairex
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun! Being a word-puzzle-lover, it makes my heart happy! Your colors are bright and cheerful too! Love it all! Thanks for having me as a GD this week too!
