Here is the challenge graphic and the card I created using this challenge:
I had a great time doing this challenge. First I took pink cardstock and folded and trimmed it to invitation size at 5 1/2" by 4 1/4". Next, I trimmed a piece of violet cardstock slightly smaller and glued it down. Then, with an even smaller piece of white cardstock, I ran it through an embossing folder by Darice, then adhered it to the card front.
I tied a piece of light pink (sheer) ribbon to the left. Then, I used a piece of patterned paper in grey tones, trimmed it smaller than the white cardstock, and rounded the edges, Using a Spellbinders die, I trimmed white cardstock into the circular shape shown. I stamped directly on this piece using my Misti and stamps that are a few years old from A Jillian Vance. I colored the stamped images using Copic markers. I did the shadows in grey. I found a fun, very old brad in my collection in pink with a button like appearance. I thought this would be cute in the tire center.
I used an EK Success adhesive heart, then using dimensional adhesive I added the grey paper and scalloped circle to the card. Quick, simple and fun! I love this older stamp set and can't part with it!
