Come join the crafty fun! Right now, the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog is hosting a patriotic (red, white and blue) themed challenge. Simply use a stamp one year old or older, and the chosen theme, and join us!
Here is the challenge graphic and the card I created using this challenge:
This card was so quick and easy to make! I used a white card in the invitation size. Then I took an embossing folder from Sizzix, in the United States design. I embossed another piece of white cardstock. Then, I cut a piece of patterned paper to fit behind the cardstock, this is the cute paper pad from My Favorite Things in Subtle Plaids. Next, I added a piece of adhesive fun foam behind the patterned paper for dimension and adhered this to the card front. I added an EK Success red sticker, and taking an old Tim Holtz sentiment stamp (Simple Sayings) and my Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the card. Then I added a white heart sticker and some red cord from American Crafts.
Please join us in the challenge! Then check back to the Retro Rubber Blog one week from this Sunday to learn the challenge winner! I can't wait to see your creations!
Hi there Christine: I love, love this embossing folder of the USA!!, it can be used for so many themes, like what you did on your beautiful card. Love the pop of red of the heart and the twine wrapping all of it together.
