Join us for a new challenge at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog!

Hi thanks for stopping by!  Come on over at join us at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog for Challenge 29, the "Ho Ho Holiday Challenge"!  Fun, right?!  This challenge involves using a stamp one year old or older, and creating any holiday crafting project!  Perfect timing!  Here is what I created for the challenge and the challenge graphic:




 
I used pink cardstock and a background die, and I removed part of the cuttings from the background.  The stamp is from Stampin Up, and I used black ink onto cream cardstock.  I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut the stamped image.  I added the ornament to the card, and added string and gems.  With red ink I used a very old "Joy" stamp to place a sentiment in the lower corner.  (the main card is folded white cardstock in the invitation size)

    FABULOUS card! I love the way you used the die cut, leaving some in and not all punched out. Merry Christmas!

    Love the die cut background as well as that gorgeous ornament. I have heard of the Brother Scan and Cut and have wondered if it is worth the expense... would love your opinion! Beautiful card, Christine!
