Hi there and thanks for stopping by! It is time for The Retro Rubber Challenge Blog's Challenge 27! This challenge is a color challenge. Simply create a new crafty project using a stamp one year old or older, and the colors in the photo below. Here is a copy of the challenge as well as a card I created for the challenge. I used an older large background stamp that I own. It was wood mounted, but I remounted it to use with my Misti stamping tool. Also I used a new stamp set from My Favorite Things. I love that adorable image and sentiment. Then I added some fun metallic embellies.
So come join the fun over at the Retro Rubber Blog! I'd love to see your creations. And stop by a week from Sunday to see who won this particular challenge! I entered my card in the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp, check it out!
Isn't it fun to combine the old with the new? What a great background stamp that is very retro! The little mouse is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love that background stamp! And the mouse is adorable. Great card, Christina! (Come help me with my wood mount background stamps, LOL)
ReplyDeleteI loved this card when I first saw it, and I love it even more now. I must have that background stamp! Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Jane. I just adore the mouse and that background stamp NEEDS to be in my stash :) Cx
ReplyDeleteOh, What a sweet card! That little mouse reminds me of when I was cross-stitching many, many years ago. Stamping them is much more fun, I bet! Your background stamp is so interesting, too. Great job with the color challenge!!
