There's a fun new challenge at Retro Rubber Challenge Blog!

Let's start the new year out right, with a fun new challenge at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog!  This challenge blog is all about using your old crafty materials, to create fun new projects!  The challenge this time involves using a crimper, and a stamp older than one year old.  Do you own a crimper?  I do!  It's been collecting dust, but no more!  If you don't own a crimper, try using a scoring board to mimic the same effect, or a bone folder.  The challenge runs from January 6-16.  Join us!

For my project, I used a die-cut from Silhouette, and an older border stamp that I have, Versamark ink, and black embossing powder (detail).  I picked some patterned paper, some red twine, and 4 red gems.  I used my crimper (forgot how fun it is!) and some white cardstock to create the center panel.  Love the final effect.  I think it is both masculine and feminine at the same time.  I also entered my card into the challenge at Cute Card Thursday, check out their challenges too! I'd love to see what you create!  So make your way over to the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog now!
