There is a new challenge at the Retro Rubber Blog! Check it out!

Hi and thanks for visiting my blog!  There is a new challenge over at the Retro Rubber Blog!  It is challenge 57, and involves using a stamp one year old or older, and the given theme.  The theme this time is a color challenge.  Too fun!  Here is the challenge graphic and the card that I created for this challenge:

I pulled out a stamp set I have had forever and never used!  I really love how the RR Blog gets me to use unused items!  The set is by Paper Smooches and is called Great Chemistry.  It has a date of 2011.  I also used the coordinating dies.

I found some patterned paper by Recollections (blue stripes) for the background.  I added a strip to a folded white invitation sized card.  I rounded the edges.  Using white cardstock I stamped and die cut the images.  I colored them with Copic Markers.  I took a piece of white cardstock, stamped the sentiment, and die cut it to create the framed edges.  I cut the inside block slightly smaller than the frame.

I added the images to the white block using dimensional adhesive.  Then I added the tied bow and sticky hearts from EK Success.  I adhered the frame and white block to the card.  Too fun!

It was so fun to create this card!  Won't you join us this time?  We would love to see your projects!  Then come back and visit the Retro Rubber Blog on the Sunday after the challenge ends to learn the challenge winner!  Best of luck!

Thank you for joining us for Retro Rubber's Challenge 56! Birthday theme!

Hi there and how are you?  Thank you so much for coming over to view Retro Rubber Challenge Blog's 56th! challenge!  This time around, we are creating a crafting project using a stamp one year old or older, and a birthday theme!  Here is the challenge graphic and the card I created for this challenge:

I used a stamp that is one of my favs!  I will never ever part with it!  It is from The Stamps of Life,  It is "birthday for cookie",   August 2010 this set came out, see it here.  There are other fun stamp sets that I need from this line, like the "friends for cookie", a collection of cute dog friends!

I used my mini Misti and Memento Tuxedo Black ink and a white prefolded card to start the party.  I then stamped the cute dog, and colored him with two pink Copic markers, and two grey Copic markers.  I added a SRM sentiment sticker #51003 Happy Birthday, some silver cord, and a corner rounder.  It took all of 5 minutes!  So quick and fun!

Won't you join us?  We would love to see your creations!  Then join us the Sunday after the challenge ends at Retro Rubber to learn the challenge winner!
